Impact of the Muskrat Falls Project on Nunatsiavut Inuit. 

My PhD research focuses on how social conceptions of Inuit health are shaped by global social processes such as capitalism, colonialism, and imperialism in the context of the Muskrat Falls project.

This work is funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission.

The Muskrat Falls Project’s impact on health and wellbeing

My Master’s dissertation mobilized Indigenous Research Methods to understand how the Muskrat Falls Hydroelectric Project in Labrador impacts the health and wellbeing of the Labrador Land Protectors. A summary report can be found here.

This work was funded by a MAXQDA Research for Change grant.

 

I have also worked as a Research Assistant, as a Health Policy Analyst, and currently serve as a member of Qaujigiartiit Health Research Centre’s Ethics Katimajiit. For more details on my work and voluntary experience, see my Academic CV.
